Terms of use
Effective 3 October 2026
1. Operator and purpose
Remondikoda provides an online platform for car repair requests, workshop offers and service bookings. Operator: Prism Hooldus OÜ, registry code 16894703, VAT number EE102771509, Läänemere tee 62, 13914 Tallinn, Estonia. Contact: info@prism.ee, +372 354 8514.
The repair contract is between the customer and the chosen workshop. Remondikoda does not carry out repairs, set repair prices or collect payment for repairs. This does not exclude the operator’s liability for its own obligations towards users.
2. Accounts and workshop profiles
Users must provide accurate information and are responsible for activity through their accounts. A workshop representative must be authorised to act on its behalf. Workshops provide and keep their business details, contacts, services and availability up to date. They cannot respond to requests until their profiles have been verified. Verification of business and contact details is not a guarantee of the quality of future repairs.
3. Requests, offers and bookings
The customer describes the problem, vehicle, location and preferred time. Requests are shown to workshops matching the service, location and availability. A request does not guarantee a reply or an available appointment.
The workshop proposes the time and price. A price marked “from” is indicative. Before work begins, the workshop and customer agree on the scope, diagnostics, final price or how it will be determined, additional costs and timing. Additional work requires the customer’s agreement. Confirming a booking records the selected offer; it does not authorise any subsequent expense. Each party must promptly inform the other about cancellations or changes. Remondikoda does not impose automatic cancellation penalties.
4. Workshop subscription
Submitting a request is free for customers. Registration, the public profile, calendar and viewing incoming requests in the inbox are free (€0) for workshops. Unlocking client contact details and responding to requests requires the Partner plan at from €29 + VAT per month, price negotiable (with 24% VAT the total is €35.96). No commission is charged on repairs.
A paid subscription is purchased separately with explicit payment confirmation. It renews monthly until cancelled. The next renewal can be cancelled in the subscription section; access continues until the end of the paid period. Refund requests are considered according to the circumstances and applicable law. If payment fails or paid access ends, the free public profile and request viewing remain available, while unlocking client contacts and responding to new requests requires an active subscription. Neither request volume nor workshop revenue is guaranteed.
5. Offer ranking and reviews
Offer ranking takes account of distance (50%), ratings (30%) and response time (20%). For workshops with few reviews, a smoothed rating with an initial value of 4.0 is used. Bookings missed due to the workshop in the past 90 days reduce its position. Earlier responses rank higher in a tie. Neither repair price nor the amount paid to the platform provides an advantage.
A review can be posted after a booking is marked as completed. The workshop may reply. Fake reviews, impersonation, insults and publication of other people’s personal data are prohibited. Report a violation to the operator with a link or booking reference.
6. Restrictions and changes to these terms
Access may be restricted for inaccurate business details, fraud, unlawful content, security threats, infringement of others’ rights or material breach of these terms. The operator provides the reason on a durable medium unless disclosure is prohibited by law. A workshop can provide an explanation and challenge the decision at info@prism.ee. Measures must be proportionate to the violation.
If the operator terminates a workshop’s service, at least 30 days’ prior notice applies, except where the law permits an exception. Workshops receive at least 15 days’ notice of changes to these terms, and longer where substantial adaptation is needed. Exceptions apply only as provided by law. Changes are not retroactive. Users may stop using the service and cancel their subscription.
7. Data, account closure and responsibilities
Users can view their requests, offers and bookings in their account. A workshop receives the customer contact details needed for the selected booking. Data is processed under the privacy policy. Closing an account ends account access and stops the subscription; the other party’s minimum history may be retained without the deleted user’s contact details. Statutory accounting retention duties continue to apply.
These terms do not restrict mandatory consumer rights. Workshops are responsible for their own work, information and charges; the operator is responsible for its own service under applicable law.
8. Complaints and disputes
For platform matters, contact info@prism.ee. Include the request or booking reference and the outcome sought. We respond to consumer complaints in writing within 15 days; if this is not possible, we explain why and give a new deadline. For repair quality issues, first contact the workshop you contracted with. Consumers retain the right to contact the Consumer Disputes Committee at TTJA or a competent court. Estonian law applies without removing mandatory consumer protection under applicable law.
