DPF warning light is on
The DPF light comes on when the filter has collected a lot of soot and regeneration has not completed. It is common on cars that mostly do short town trips. Describe how you usually drive and whether limp mode has kicked in too.

Frequently asked questions
Will a motorway drive help?
Often, yes. Twenty minutes or so of steady driving at higher revs lets the filter clean itself. If the light stays on or the car goes into limp mode, a workshop needs to look at it.
Can the DPF be removed?
No. A removed DPF is an inspection fault in Estonia and breaks emissions rules. Cleaning or replacement are the legal options.
How much does it cost?
The workshop sets the price. The offer shows the workshop's "from" price; the final price is clear once the car has been looked at. Remondikoda does not set or suggest prices.
Who chooses the workshop?
You do. You see offers with time, price and reviews and choose yourself. Remondikoda does not assign workshops.
