High fuel consumption
Fuel use can creep up quietly: a sticking brake caliper, low tyre pressures, a faulty lambda sensor or a thermostat that keeps the engine from warming up. Note what the car used before and what it uses now, and whether you drive mostly in town or on open roads.

Diagnostics
Diagnostics starts with reading fault codes, but a code only points the way.
-
Fuel system repair
Fuel system work covers injectors, the high-pressure pump, the fuel filter and the in-tank pump.
The workshop names the exact cause after looking at the car.

Frequently asked questions
How much is too much?
Compare against the same car in similar conditions. Winter and short town trips always push it up. A clear rise with no change in how you drive is worth a diagnostic check.
What can I check myself first?
Tyre pressures, whether one wheel is noticeably hotter than the others after a drive, and any roof box or bars. If those are fine, a workshop reads the fault codes and looks at live sensor data.
How much does it cost?
The workshop sets the price. The offer shows the workshop's "from" price; the final price is clear once the car has been looked at. Remondikoda does not set or suggest prices.
Who chooses the workshop?
You do. You see offers with time, price and reviews and choose yourself. Remondikoda does not assign workshops.
