Headlights dazzle oncoming traffic
If oncoming drivers keep flashing you, the headlights are probably aimed too high. The cause can be unadjusted lights, a broken levelling motor or an LED bulb fitted in a halogen housing. Say whether lights or bulbs were changed recently.

Headlight alignment
Headlight alignment sets the dipped beam to the right height and direction so the road is lit and oncoming drivers are not dazzled.

Frequently asked questions
Can I fit an LED bulb in a standard headlight?
Not unless the headlight and bulb carry the matching type approval. Such bulbs scatter light the wrong way and dazzle, and it counts as a fault at inspection.
Is there anything I can check?
See whether the headlight levelling dial on the dashboard is at zero when the car is unloaded. If that does not help, a workshop adjusts the beams on a test rig.
How much does it cost?
The workshop sets the price. The offer shows the workshop's "from" price; the final price is clear once the car has been looked at. Remondikoda does not set or suggest prices.
Who chooses the workshop?
You do. You see offers with time, price and reviews and choose yourself. Remondikoda does not assign workshops.
