Smoke from the exhaust
The colour of the smoke tells a lot. Blue-grey means oil burning, black means too much fuel, white with a sweet smell means coolant. A little white vapour on a cold morning is normal. Mention the smoke colour and when it appears.

Frequently asked questions
Can I keep driving?
A puff of black smoke under acceleration does not mean stop at once, but get the cause found. Thick white smoke together with rising temperature or coolant loss means stop driving.
Can the turbo cause smoke?
Yes. Worn turbo bearings let oil into the intake or exhaust and the smoke turns blue-grey. Worn piston rings give similar signs, so diagnostics decides.
How much does it cost?
The workshop sets the price. The offer shows the workshop's "from" price; the final price is clear once the car has been looked at. Remondikoda does not set or suggest prices.
Who chooses the workshop?
You do. You see offers with time, price and reviews and choose yourself. Remondikoda does not assign workshops.
