Gears will not engage
Gears that go in stiffly or crunch can come from a clutch that does not fully disengage, the clutch hydraulics, the shift cables or the gearbox itself. Say whether it is every gear or just one, and whether it is worse when cold.

Frequently asked questions
Can I still drive it?
If the gears do go in with effort, a careful drive to the workshop is usually fine. If a gear jumps out while driving or the car will not move at all, do not drive it and arrange a tow.
What can I check myself?
Whether the clutch pedal feels soft or sinks to the floor, and whether there is fluid in the reservoir. Many cars share it with the brakes. If the level keeps dropping, there is a leak somewhere.
How much does it cost?
The workshop sets the price. The offer shows the workshop's "from" price; the final price is clear once the car has been looked at. Remondikoda does not set or suggest prices.
Who chooses the workshop?
You do. You see offers with time, price and reviews and choose yourself. Remondikoda does not assign workshops.
