Oil leak
An oil patch under the car usually comes from the rocker cover gasket, sump gasket, oil filter or crankshaft seals. A slight weep and an active drip are judged differently. Mention how big the patch is after one night and whether you need to top up.

Frequently asked questions
How serious is an oil leak?
A light weep is not an immediate danger, but keep checking the dipstick. If oil drips onto the hot exhaust it smokes and becomes a fire risk, so get it fixed promptly.
Why does the workshop want to clean the engine?
Oil runs downwards, so the trace is often lower than the source. After cleaning and a short drive the exact spot is much easier to see.
How much does it cost?
The workshop sets the price. The offer shows the workshop's "from" price; the final price is clear once the car has been looked at. Remondikoda does not set or suggest prices.
Who chooses the workshop?
You do. You see offers with time, price and reviews and choose yourself. Remondikoda does not assign workshops.
