Frequently asked questions
When do winter tyres have to go on?
In Estonia winter tyres are required from 1 December to 1 March, and studded tyres are allowed from 15 October to 31 March. The Transport Administration can shift these dates depending on the weather, so check its notice.
How much tread is required?
At least 3 mm on winter tyres and 1.6 mm on summer tyres. Driving down to the legal minimum is not wise, especially on wet roads.
How much does it cost?
The workshop sets the price. The offer shows the workshop's "from" price; the final price is clear once the car has been looked at. Remondikoda does not set or suggest prices.
Who chooses the workshop?
You do. You see offers with time, price and reviews and choose yourself. Remondikoda does not assign workshops.
