Flat or punctured tyre

A screw or nail in the tread can usually be repaired, while a sidewall cut or a tyre that was driven flat usually cannot. Say where the hole is, whether the tyre still holds air and whether the car can move or the wheel has to be changed where it stands.

Frequently asked questions

Can I drive a little on a flat?

Best not. Even a few hundred metres flat ruins the sidewall and can damage the rim. Fit the spare, use the sealant kit or call for help.

Can a tyre be repaired after sealant?

Often, yes, but the sealant has to be cleaned out of the tyre and rim. Tell the workshop it was used and get there as soon as you can.

How much does it cost?

The workshop sets the price. The offer shows the workshop's "from" price; the final price is clear once the car has been looked at. Remondikoda does not set or suggest prices.

Who chooses the workshop?

You do. You see offers with time, price and reviews and choose yourself. Remondikoda does not assign workshops.
