Brakes squeal
Squealing under braking often comes from worn pads whose wear indicator is already touching the disc. Sometimes it is just moisture or dust. Say whether it happens on every stop or only in the morning, and which wheel the sound comes from.

Frequently asked questions
Is squealing in damp weather normal?
A light squeal on the first few stops after rain is common, as a thin layer of rust forms on the discs. If it stays all the way or turns into metal grinding, have the brakes checked.
Can pads be replaced on one wheel only?
No. Pads are always replaced across the whole axle so both sides brake evenly. Thin or scored discs are replaced in pairs too.
How much does it cost?
The workshop sets the price. The offer shows the workshop's "from" price; the final price is clear once the car has been looked at. Remondikoda does not set or suggest prices.
Who chooses the workshop?
You do. You see offers with time, price and reviews and choose yourself. Remondikoda does not assign workshops.
