Heater does not warm up

If the cabin will not warm up, the usual causes are low coolant, a thermostat stuck open, a blocked heater matrix or a faulty blend flap. Mention whether the temperature gauge reaches normal and whether the blower works on every speed.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a cooling system problem?

Very often, yes. If the gauge stays low, the thermostat is probably stuck open. If coolant is low, the leak gets found first.

Can I drive with no heating?

If the engine is not overheating, it is mostly a comfort issue. In winter, though, you need clear windows, so do not leave the repair until the frost arrives.

How much does it cost?

The workshop sets the price. The offer shows the workshop's "from" price; the final price is clear once the car has been looked at. Remondikoda does not set or suggest prices.

Who chooses the workshop?

You do. You see offers with time, price and reviews and choose yourself. Remondikoda does not assign workshops.
